Ibis Hotel
“An architectural symphony of views, luxury, and precision crafted for timeless hospitality” Nestled in the tranquil lakeside setting of Bishoftu, this 17-story hotel harmonizes luxury hospitality with functional elegance. The design orchestrates a seamless flow from grand public spaces including a 117m² Grand Room and 302m² lakeside restaurant to intimate private retreats, all unified by a consistent palette of porcelain tile flooring that balances durability with refined aesthetics. Zoning prioritizes experiential hierarchy: vibrant ground-level amenities (lobby lounge, pastry bar, outdoor dining) transition to serene upper-floor guest rooms and exclusive spa facilities on the mezzanine, culminating in panoramic balcony views across the lake landscape. Technical Precision and Elevated Experiences Optimized Spatial Efficiency: Standardized floor plates (536m²) from 3rd–15th floors streamline construction, while bespoke penthouse suites (16th–17th floors) offer expansive private terraces up to 59.9m². Wellness Integration: Dual spa zones feature meticulously planned wet areas (Moroccan baths, Jacuzzis, steam rooms) with gender-segregated layouts for privacy and comfort. Vertical Connectivity: Quadruple guest lifts and dual staircases ensure effortless circulation across 19,000m² of programmed space, including conference facilities (35m² board rooms) and staff support zones. Sustainable Materiality: Porcelain tile dominates all surfaces, reducing lifecycle maintenance while enhancing thermal performance in Bishoftu’s climate. Operational Harmony: Back-of-house areas (laundry, cold storage, staff briefing rooms) are strategically isolated yet accessible, ensuring seamless service without disrupting guest tranquility.
